Business Alignment & Strategy
Costly delays and poor customer experience occur when the team lacks a common strategy or goal.
I’ll work with the team through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and meetings to establish a clear vision for the product, identify the target customers, and define the value proposition. I'll also ensure that our product strategy is aligned with the company's long-term goals, strengths, weaknesses, direction, and overall business strategy.
Validated User Research
Once outcomes are defined, I'll consolidate existing qualitative and quantitative research and look for opportunities by examining the customer's journey, pain points, goals, tasks and your direct or indirect competitors.
Working together, we will create a comprehensive research plan that will help us identify the exact problem our product will solve. Additionally, we will assess whether the solution is something that customers will find valuable enough to adopt or pay for.
Prototype & User Testing
We’ll reduce uncertainty by putting a high-fidelity prototype in front of potential customers and testing how engaging, practical and valuable our product is early in the design process.
Additionally, the prototypes I create are the first opportunity for business stakeholders to ensure their value proposition is clearly being communicated in an interface. They'll help developers catch problems earlier in the project and allow us to make quick iterations before the UI designer(s) invests any time into 'pixel-perfect' designs.
